Here’s my problem: Want to take off a wheel to send out to get scuffed rim cleaned up before NC comes out of winter storage. Went to remove it today and discovered lug wrench in trunk didn’t fit; not surprising since the car came with aftermarket rims when I got it in August. Went to the tool box for a ratchet and no-go again as socket was too wide to fit around lug nuts. So, what’s my solution? Find a thin-walled socket (NAPA website shows a 21mm) or is there a special tooled designed to fit in slots in lug nuts? Thanks is advance for any advice.
