I am planning on coming, and would like to dig into replacing my rotting out exhaust… everything after the exhaust manifold (since previous owner welded everything together). Also, if time allows, try to diagnose intermittent clatter noise from top of engine, and determine if it’s HLA noise, or something else.

    Hey all,

I am going to be purchasing FM frame rails and would love to get some help installing them, from what i hear its a much easier job with two people or more. Has anyone installed them and/or be willing to help?

Ive been to this event once before, probably about 5 years ago, and i cant remember if there is a lift available, but i will bring jack stands anyway!

    Thanks!

Unfortunately Rob and I will be unable to attend.  Rob’s uncle passed away recently and we will be having his memorial mass for him at Rob’s Grandmother’s nursing facility at 11am in New Britain.

I will not be available to come to New Milford for this. We have a family event preventing being in 2 places at once.

    Philip,

I have done this job on my own car. It is a process. I would recommend getting there promptly. Getting the carpet up is the first hurdle. Assuming your sheet metal under the car is in good shape and doesn’t need any “messaging” the relocation of the break lines after the installation of the braces also is a pain.

I’ll be there and can lend a hand.

Can anyone offer any wisdom regarding replacement exhaust nuts and bolts? Material (stainless? copper? etc.)  Grade? Locking vs. non-locking?

As always, there are many opinions on Miata.net

Is there a list for Dent Wizard?  I have quite a few small dings/dents but there is one door dent that really bugs me. I would like to get just that one messaged out.

I’m planning on coming and I know our son Jon is bringing his white ‘92 to let the Dent Wizard do his stuff to a couple spots.

New member T.J. White says he will be going to this. He has not yet been able to get logged into the new website. I just sent him info on how to get the login going.

Does anyone who will be at the tech session have an O2 sensor socket that could be borrowed?

Scott and Rita, thank you for opening your beautiful home once again to all of us.

With the perfect weather, nice turn out, and baked beans, this was one of the best tech days in several years. Thank you again.

Yes… thanks to the Chamberlains for hosting a great Tech Day. Great turnout, and great weather! (If I had been able to get those exhaust bolts loose it would have been even better! Thanks to those who helped with the attempt.)

Would like to echo Bill and Tom with a big thank you to Scott and Rita. It was great to meet up with some old friends after a bunch of years and to make some new ones as well.

Great people, event and cool grouping of nice Miatas!
