TBD… we could come to the distillery?

I work at the distillery in Litchfield. When I started working here and first bought the Miata, before I joined this club, they told me that you guys swarmed the place one time a few years ago and they enjoyed having you. if we wanted to stop up here on one of the drives or whatever, I would be happy to lead a group tour and tasting afterwards, if that was of interest to the group? It could even be after hours, as I have a key to the place and know my way around well enough. 😀

Let me know if you guys decided anything and if you’d like to set up a ride in the NW with it ending at the distillery. I’m happy to help you get the event set up on the site if needed.

We are always looking for people to host rides and I for one would like to be on this one, so to add I will help out with the ride as needed as well. We have quite a few old runs we can reference to get this one planned out.

the 6-7 timeframe is very loose…if someone walks in at 7:15 they will not miss much and still get to order dinner…and you do not have to get there right at 6…some folks arrive before 6..some at 6:30…

 

The 7 time for the meeting is very flexible…

Is that still TBD on the location? I’m at work h til 1730 hours… unless it’s close by, I’m not sure I’d be able to make it, especially if I’m starving and miss out on the 1800 hour block for eats. I can’t find a club calendar that tells me where and when other than the nice email I got the other day, but that listed TBD for the location. Hmm.

We definitely need to talk…in person

 

Monthly meeting next week might be a good time to get things started

Perhaps we could have that talk over a glass of bourbon? Just going out on a limb there… 🤣 we recently opened up the vault and found a couple of bottles of the old ten-year hiding away, so I have been drinking a little of that as the days go by myself.

 

but yeah, it’s all easily doable. They seem to like me down there and like I said, I have a key to the place. We could do this whenever, even off regular business hours, to avoid the crowds that normally accompany that place on a weekend… It’s all good. If you want to get together and discuss something, feel free to give me a ring and we could chat about it or get together and crack a bottle open.

Well…this is an interesting offer.  as one person in this club that is a HUGE fan of the Litchfield distillery.  I have an empty bottle from batch #1 of the (at the time) 8 year old bourbon…and a couple bottles of the 10 year old.  Just cracked a bottle of your Agave Spirits (tequilla). A few of us stopped in last fall while out on a small random ride.
