    Mice got into my ND this winter, now I have a burned acorn smell in my vents, anyone else have similar problem? How did you fix it to get rid of smell?

    I don’t know if it would work, but my instinct is to try and find where the air enters the system and spray some Frebreze while running the fan at high speed. Of course this is after finding and removing the materials causing the problem.

    I haven’t had this problem, but I have seen several threads on miata.net about just this problem.

    The rodents get into the air intake opening in the cowl area, bringing nesting material with them.

    The threads listed below cover access the area and how to address everything. At a minimum all of the nesting material needs to be removed.
