Miata Reunion is a ‘national’ event that has been held on the west coast over the years. This year, it was scheduled to be at Road Atlanta on Halloween weekend…but we all know what this year has been like…so it was a nice surprise to see this little announcement in my email the other day bringing this weekend of fun to New Jersey Motorsports Park

Found the following message in my email this afternoon
We hope this finds all of you safe and healthy.
This virus has undoubtedly changed many peoples’ lives over this past year, and our event is no exception. Plans for any gathering that take everyone’s health and safety into account were put on hold, especially activities that focus heavily on community and social interaction, such as the Miata Reunion.
With recent positive developments, we’re pleased to say we are still planning on holding the Miata Reunion at New Jersey Motorsports Park on Saturday and Sunday, October 23rd and 24th, with event check-in and the ‘Moss BBQ and Car Show’ on Friday, October 22nd.
With everyone working together, we hope once again to celebrate our favorite little car over a fun-filled weekend.
For planning purposes, Event Registration will open at 9am Pacific time on Saturday, June 5th.
The Car Show and various driving activities will all still happen as planned. However, while we’re cautiously optimistic that the Saturday Party will happen, we won’t make the final decision about this until closer to the date.
Our goal is to have the website with all details fully completed by April 5th.
Please be patient as we still need to confirm many details with suppliers who have also been hit hard by this pandemic.
We’ll follow up with an announcement as soon as the website is complete, and look forward to seeing all of you in October.

Last year’s Miata Reunion was canceled. That was too bad, Atlanta Motor Raceway has much better facilities for everyone.
Regardless, it should fun weekend. Just to add, there is a long thread talks about this in the Miata dot net forum.
