Hi all! Is there a standby list for the Little Brewery Run? I missed the sign-up for this and it’s full. If anyone can’t make it, I’d love to attend this one.

Surprisingly great ride for a damp day!

 

Dave and Cindy, nice plan out of roads and thanks for doing it the day before to double check condition.  Breweries had nice October fest season brews, and Litchfield distillery bourbon.. if you chose that route like some of us did!

Karina thanks for the selection on food place at Spice club.  I think we all enjoyed each other’s company and had a good meal!

What had great fun we had today. Weather was not to terrible and the roads were brilliant! A couple of photos from today. The last photo shows the reaction to what happens when a acorn hits the hood of your Miata 🙁

What a great day!!…damp start but top was down within 30 minutes of starting.  Dave and Cindy had a really nice route selection…except for one unforseen detour due to downed wires, everything route wise was great!!…nice combination of twisty bits and all very smooth.  the stops at Hop culture and Niantic Public house were very good brewery stops.  and the Thai restaurant at the end was a nice switch from the usual burger/pizza…all around a nice afternoon of socializing and cruizin…thank you again Dave and Cindy for planning the route

Maybe if people want to cancel, they can message ME since I’m managing this run… I appreciate Joe for letting me know though 🙂

We are still planning on going this morning  I ran the whole route in the rain yesterday, it was fine, with the exception of some wet leaves and puddles.  We will be safe, keep our speed to a reasonable level, and we will still have fun.

My guess is that there will be more than one or two no-shows…already got a text from Wendy..who has brand new tires, new front brakes and new wiper blades as of thursday afternoon…

A very light rain (more of an Irish mist) here in West Hartford at 7:31. See you all this morning

Not raining here in Waterbury at 7:11 am…lets hope for the best the rest of the day

Well…a stop at Ami bagel shop before heading to Old Lyme is definitely on my radar…East side of Waterbury…about 9:15…ish

 

Edit…of course I stuck my head outside about 6:30 to no actual rainfall, as noted above…it started raining again…aarrgghhhh!!!!

Rain all day Saturday! Any chance of running on Sunny Sunday like last year? Dave Gridley

today is beautiful…and of course we have a big gathering tomorrow…which is looking pretty bleak weather wise

Joe, three different weather apps and they all say something different. I vote for dry and sunny :). We shall see.

I am definitely looking forward to this one…start point now posted…thank you!!

 

Maybe we might luck out and be dry this year…not that a little dampness prevented us from having a good time last year.  we even did it twice!!
