We had an excellent breakfast in the Log House followed by a great ride that was unfortuanly cut short when the sky’s opened up but ended at a Brew house with good drinks and good conversation. Cant wait for the Poker run in August.

That will depend on what folks want to do if the weather does not co-operate

July9 meeting. Will we still have a drive if it is raining?Dave Gridley
I talked to clubmember Bud Wilkinson about this show. he writes for the Waterbury newspaper (column every saturday) he is the resident expert on car shows. This is a REALLY BIG show…cars lining up to get good placements as early as 7am…roads blocked off around the center of town…parking for spectators well away and a bit of a walk. probably why we have avoided that area in the past.
That said…we can get close to that area on our post meeting drive, and anyone that wants to peel off while others continue to romp, that is fine with me…I prefer driving to looking.
Falls Village is 10 – 3. Mtg info I didn’t catch the “Breakfast” part….my bad….but meeting says 10:30 – 1:00?..so I just assumed.
Well…what time does that Falls village car show start?…and end?
our breakfast meeting usually departs Barkhamstead about noon…ish…and takes a scenic route thru the Northwest corner…in that general direction…maybe we can desend on that gathering as a group?
