HOLIDAY PARTY SATURDAY DEC 2

‘Tis the season and its time to get ready for the Club Annual Holiday get together.

 

In keeping with the spirit of giving, this year the club will be making a sizeable give back to the members.  The overall cost to members and their guest, will be LOWER than last year.  When was the last time anyone saw the cost of something actually go down?!?

This Year … ONLY $65 Per Couple or $33 For A Single

This is the Club’s effort to encourage participation by more members!

This event will be held at the Torrington Elks club, same venue as last year. NOON – 4

We had a great experience last year…good food, great service and look forward to another wonderful day

As last year, there will be a social hour to start things off, and this is a CA$H BAR!

Thats right…real folding money, not plastic, or Venmo or ApplePay, etc.  Green dollar bills please.

There will also be, as last year, a 50/50 raffle…again, green dollar bills. Proceeds to TEAM (see below)

Photo contest winner and prize…some door prizes …

Don’t forget your ‘finest’ Christmas attire…i.e. Ugly christmas sweaters encouraged

 

And as in the past, the Club will be collecting toys and donations for the TEAM organization.  All donations are kept local in the Valley area, Rt 8 corridor.  The Club will donate 2 bicycles and spend a bit on toys too. A representative from TEAM will be there to explain their programs and how important our donations are. I will be posting a ‘wish list’ thing that I got from them last week. Over the years we usually fill a van with our collection.
