The Spring Run will be on Saturday April 27th. We will meet at 10:00 am in the commuter lot off exit 6, RT 9 , Chester, CT.  

Directions are…

RT 9 south, exit 6.  End of exit, Commuter lot is across the street.                            

RT 9 north, exit 6.  End of exit, turn left, under highway bridge, lot is on your left.

GPS users can enter the address for Aaron Manor,  3 South Wig Hill Rd, Chester, CT  06412    The lot is across the street     

If you are using Google Maps you can search for…                                                        Park and Ride,  Hoop Pole Hill Rd, Chester, CT

The Park and Ride is not really near anything, there are no bathrooms or gas stations close, so it would be a good idea to take care of things beforehand.

Printed directions with approximate mileage will be available before we leave.

The route is in Middlesex, and New London counties.

There are lots of fun “Miata roads”,  scenic roads, and some cool Connecticut type stuff.   Some of the roads will be familiar to some of you, but I threw a few new ones in to try and keep things interesting 🙂  

As of now the run is about 75 mi.

We will finish in Madison, CT, at The Fish Tale restaurant for lunch. ljfishtale.com                

Hammonasset Beach State Park is basically across the street from the Fish Tale,  we can visit after lunch for a drive through, or a walk if anyone wants.  There is no entrance fee for CT residents, and this time of year out of state should be free also
